Every arrangement is a little different. Follow the care instructions that come with your flowers, and ask your florist if you are unsure how to care for a particular flower or vessel.

Keep it comfortable

Choose a cool, shaded place away from direct sunlight, hot appliances and strong drafts. Keep cut flowers away from ripening fruit.

Fresh water matters

For vase arrangements, use clean water and check it regularly. Remove leaves below the water line and fading blooms gently. Use flower food only as directed if it is supplied.

Ask about baskets and plants

Floral-foam arrangements and living plants require different care. Ask how to top up water or how to water your plant without overdoing it.
